1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Fix My Rig's remote IT support services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Service Description

Fix My Rig provides remote IT support services for computers, laptops, and related technology. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Software troubleshooting and repairs
  • Virus and malware removal
  • System optimization
  • Software installation and configuration
  • Technical support and advice

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Deposit amounts vary by service tier:

  • Essential: £10 deposit
  • Advanced: £15 deposit
  • Comprehensive: £20 deposit

3.2 Final Payment

The remaining balance is payable upon completion of the service. We will always discuss any additional costs with you before proceeding with work that exceeds the original scope.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable once paid. If you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. We reserve the right to charge the full service fee for no-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.

5. Service Limitations

While we make every effort to resolve your technical issues, we cannot guarantee:

  • Recovery of lost or corrupted data
  • Repair of hardware failures (our service is software-focused)
  • Resolution of issues caused by third-party software or services
  • Complete removal of all malware in heavily infected systems

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your technical issues
  • Backup important data before our service (we are not responsible for data loss)
  • Have a stable internet connection for remote support
  • Follow our technician's instructions during the session
  • Ensure you have the right to authorize work on the device

7. Liability

Fix My Rig will not be liable for any data loss, system damage, or consequential damages arising from our services. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. We are registered with the ICO (ZB895471).

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Fix My Rig and is protected by copyright laws.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
